Iceland 2021

In 2021, I traveled to the stunning landscapes of Iceland to photograph Thule’s latest products. Over 14 days, with a crew of around 100 people, we focused on the Thule Approach roof tent, Thule Caprock roof platform, and hero images for Thule Arcos, Thule Motion, and Thule T2.

The Icelandic scenery, with its waterfalls, volcanic terrain, and glaciers, was ideal for showcasing Thule’s products. Each location was chosen to highlight the rugged durability and sleek design of Thule’s gear. From blue ice caves to the highlands, every shot aimed to convey Thule’s spirit of adventure.

The Thule Approach roof tent, known for its innovative design and easy setup, was featured in natural settings to reflect its promise of freedom and exploration. The Thule Caprock roof platform, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, was photographed carrying gear across challenging terrains, emphasizing its robustness and versatility.

Hero images for the Thule Arcos, Thule Motion, and Thule T2 were also created. The Thule Arcos, with its aerodynamic design, was captured in motion, while the Thule Motion rooftop box was highlighted for its practicality and elegance. The Thule T2 bike rack was photographed in use, showcasing its ease of use and stability.

This photoshoot was an adventure, blending breathtaking Icelandic landscapes with Thule’s innovative products. The images not only highlight the products’ features but also inspire a sense of exploration and the call of the wild.
